Why we started: A community-first vision
Terre Haute has a lack in sports opportunities beyond high school and college programs. We saw a need and a chance to fill that void. IndianaHoosierOutlaws.com was born from the desire to offer semi-pro football that is free for the community to watch and accessible to players over 18, regardless of their past experiences. We believe everyone deserves a chance to play, even those who thought their football journey was over.
Our goals: Building a legacy on and off the field
Our aspiration is to build a dynasty here in Terre Haute. This isn't just about winning games; it's about nurturing talent, helping young players find alternate paths in life, and providing a fun, active outlet for older players. We're committed to fostering a vibrant team spirit and a supportive environment where everyone can thrive. Indiana Hoosier Outlaws is driven by passionate individuals dedicated to our vision. Robert Greene is the founder, owner, coach, and even a player, embodying the spirit of the team. He is joined by Alek Downey, a co-owner and player, who is also an army veteran committed to spreading awareness and community involvement. Together, they lead our efforts to create an impactful and lasting presence in the community.
